I write to express my enthusiastic support for a bill that is before your committee.  S. 2660, An Act Relative to Air Quality In Schools, seeks to establish a special commission (which includes members of the General Court) tasked with investigating air quality in public school classrooms and facilities.  S. 2660 was reported favorably out of the Committee on Education on March 27, 2024.  

S. 2660 is a groundbreaking piece of legislation with regard to ensuring that children, teachers, and employees of public schools are breathing clean air.  S. 2660 is an important step forward to addressing issues of chronic absenteeism, historically low test scores across the state, deteriorating quality of education and, of course, the serious economic impacts resulting from each of these issues.

Please support the quick passage of S. 2660!! In supporting this bill you are acting on behalf of the health and welfare of your constituents - we all deserve to breathe clean air!
